On September 23, 2025 a signing ceremony was held at Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn (KNU) to mark the establishment and use of a joint training laboratory on artificial intelligence, as well as the official publication and promotion of professional standards, curriculum, and educational resources of the China-Kyrgyz Silk Road Institute of Cross-Border E-Commerce.
Representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the Jiaxing Nanyang Polytechnic Institute of China participated in the event.
In his welcoming address, KNU Rector Professor Dogdurbek Chontoev noted that the event marks a new stage in strengthening the Kyrgyz-Chinese partnership in education, technology, and innovation. According to him, the e-commerce training center, which is being launched and is equipped with the latest technology, will become a laboratory of knowledge and practice, where young people from Kyrgyzstan will learn modern cross-border trade tools, digital marketing, logistics, and digital platform management. Furthermore, the official publication of the professional standard, curriculum, and educational resources on e-commerce is the result of significant joint scientific and methodological work. “We are confident that these standards will form the foundation for training highly qualified specialists not only for Kyrgyzstan but for the entire Central Asian region. May our new training center become a hub for ideas, knowledge, and friendship, and may the Silk Road Institute take its rightful place on the map of international education. I wish us all successful cooperation, new achievements, and inspiration,” concluded Dogdurbek Chontoev.
