On February 23, 2026 a professional development workshop for faculty from the Institute of Computer Technology and Artificial Intelligence and the Kyrgyz-Korean College was held in the Diplomat Conference Hall of the Plaza Hotel as part of the LUPIC project.
The Keimyung University delegation, which organized the event, included:
- Joo Hong Taek, LUPIC Project Director and Professor;
- Lee Dok Woo, Professor;
- Kim Yohan, Professor;
- YunJi Lee, a representative of the LUPIC-Kyr administrative team.
During the event, Professor Lee Dok Woo gave a lecture on software engineering, and Professor Kim Yohan gave a lecture on data science.
The workshop aimed to share modern teaching methods and current technological trends in software engineering and data science.
During the visit, working meetings were also held with Professor Joo Hong-Taek, Yun-Chi Lee, as well as ICTAI Director Amantur Ryspaev and Head of the ICTAI Department of Artificial Intelligence Kuban Shekeyev. The participants discussed the implementation of the LUPIC project and strengthening academic ties between universities in the Republic of Korea and the Kyrgyz Republic.
