On February 5, 2026 the Venture Quest Startup Festival, organized by Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn (KNU) in partnership with the Kyrgyz-Japanese Center for Human Resources Development (KRJC), concluded its final round. During the event, students underwent intensive training in business idea generation and planning, ultimately presenting their innovative business plans.
Following the three-stage training seminars, an awards ceremony was held for the best teams. Almazbek Azimov, Co-Director of the Kyrgyz-Japanese Center for Human Resources Development (KRJC), and Gulbara Bekturganova Sydykova, Vice-Rector for Investments at KNU, presented the winners with training certificates.
The jury selected the following teams to advance to the finals and receive free participation in the professional course on “Business Start”:
- SunnyTeam;
- AI-Studio Kyrgyzstan;
- Eko kuch;
- CareLink KG (with a project for a smart bracelet providing emergency assistance for the elderly).
In his speech, Almazbek Azimov noted that supporting youth entrepreneurial initiatives is an important area of cooperation between the two countries. Vice-Rector Gulbara Sydykova added that these business plans will form the basis for developing the university’s project portfolio and realizing students’ potential in the real sector of the economy.
As a reminder, participants received in-depth knowledge on the topics of “Business Idea Generation” and “Business Planning”. This event aims to stimulate entrepreneurship among students and support modern startups.
