On February 9, 2026, a round table entitled “Education, Culture and Philosophy of the Future: An Interdisciplinary Scientific Dialogue” was held at the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The event was organized by the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Department of Philosophy, Theory and History of Culture, and the Department of Sociology and Social Work of Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn.

The round table aimed to promote interdisciplinary academic dialogue, strengthen cooperation between academic science and higher education institutions, and expand international collaboration in the field of philosophical and socio-humanitarian research.

It should be emphasized that the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic serves not only as the country’s leading scientific center but also as an employer for graduates in philosophy and social sciences, creating conditions for their professional and academic self-realization.

The event was opened by Nur Saralaev, Director of the Institute of Philosophy, Law and Socio-Political Research named after A. Altmyshbaev under the NAS KR. In his address, he highlighted the relevance of the discussed issues in the context of global transformations, emphasized the importance of humanitarian research in shaping societal value orientations, and outlined priority areas for cooperation with higher education institutions.

Doctor of Philosophical Sciences Zamir Amanbekovich Alymkulov also took part in the round table. In his presentation, he introduced the activities of the research centers of the Institute of Philosophy, Law and Socio-Political Research, their key research areas, ongoing projects, and prospects for academic collaboration. Particular attention was paid to the involvement of doctoral students and young scholars in research activities and the development of joint interdisciplinary initiatives.

The round table was moderated by Asel Shaiyldaeva, Candidate of Sociological Sciences, Associate Professor, and Nazira Kasymova, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, Associate Professor, who ensured a constructive discussion and an academic format of the event.

The round table covered three thematic blocks: “Education of the Future,” “Culture and Identity,” and “Philosophy of the Future.” Participants discussed the transformation of educational models in the context of digitalization, the integration of artificial intelligence into the educational environment, humanistic and inclusive approaches in education, as well as the role of the university in shaping civic responsibility and value systems.

Special attention was given to issues of cultural identity preservation, dialogue between traditions and innovations, the influence of the digital environment on public consciousness, philosophical reflections on the interaction between humans and technology, and questions of ethics and social responsibility in the era of digital transformation.

The event had an international character. Doctoral students and young researchers from the People’s Republic of China participated in the round table: Chen Lu, Yu Ji, Lu Xiaoran, Liu Jinglun, Zhou Chengyu, Yu Zelong, Pan Yaping, Ouyang Fanfan, Dan Hui, Ma Hui, Zhou Qiaopi. Some international participants joined the discussion online, contributing to the expansion of the event’s geography and the development of academic mobility.

At the conclusion of the event, Nur Saralaev presented certificates to the participants.

The round table became an effective platform for academic exchange, strengthening cooperation between the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic and Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn, as well as for further development of international academic collaboration.
