On December 24, 2025 First Vice-Rector and Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Alaibek Shamshiev received representatives of the Anhui Provincial Association for International Education, People’s Republic of China, which includes Anhui University, Huaibei Normal University, Anhui University of Science and Technology, Anshing Normal University, and Wanynan Medical College.
The parties discussed prospects for developing bilateral and multilateral cooperation in higher education. Particular attention was paid to issues of academic mobility for students and faculty, the implementation of joint educational programs, the exchange of experience in teaching and methodological work, and opportunities for joint research.
Alaibek Shamshiev emphasized the importance of strengthening partnerships with leading Chinese universities, noting that such meetings contribute to the internationalization of education and improve the quality of specialist training. Representatives of Chinese universities, in turn, expressed interest in expanding cooperation with KNU.
University representatives then conducted career guidance for students at the Kyrgyz-Chinese Research Institute.
