On December 12, 2025 a ceremonial meeting was held in the large assembly hall between the leadership of Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn and volunteer teachers who make a significant contribution to the development of multilingual education at the university on an unpaid basis.

It is worth noting that KNU currently employs 40 international volunteers on a permanent basis, who teach students their native languages as Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Turkish, German, English, and Polish, and thus contributing to the strengthening of international ties and the development of intercultural dialogue.

The event was organized as a sign of sincere gratitude to the volunteers for their work, initiative, and active participation in KNU’s educational activities. The meeting also coincided with the New Year celebrations, symbolically emphasizing the university’s commitment to further development and expansion of cooperation in the coming year.

The event was attended by KNU Rector and Professor Dogdurbek Chontoev, Vice-Rector for Research Myrzabek Kamchybek uulu, Vice-Rector for Investments Gulbara Sydykova, Vice-Rector for Regional Affairs Kunduz Bazakeeva, faculty deans and institute directors, representatives of diplomatic missions from China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Russia, and Belarus, as well as KNU’s international partners.

The meeting served as an important platform for exchanging opinions, discussing future plans, and strengthening partnerships between the university, volunteers, and international partners.

KNU named after Jusup Balasagyn expresses its deep gratitude to each volunteer for their dedicated work and significant contribution to improving the quality of education and expanding international cooperation.
