On December 9, 2025 Kunduz Bazakeeva, Vice-Rector for Regional Affairs at Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn, received a delegation from Guizhou Province, People’s Republic of China, led by Mr. Chen Xinlun, Head of the Second-Level of Education Department.
The parties discussed cooperation in the social sciences and humanities, noting that interaction between the two institutions contributes to strengthening friendship and mutual understanding between the peoples of Kyrgyzstan and China, and opens new prospects for joint scientific research, academic exchange, and cultural projects.
Also participating in the meeting were Ms. Wu Wanyi – Director of the Central Asian Friendship Association; Mr. Guo Yi – Deputy Head of the International Education Department; Ms. Yan Li – Senior Level II Officer of the Department for the Protection of Rights and Development of Local Self-Government; Bakyt Keldibekov – Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Relations of KNU; Sofya Apaeva – Director of the Kyrgyz-Chinese Research Institute; and Aisuluu Moldobaeva – Head of the PhD Program at KCRI.
