The International Summer University “Results of the Great Patriotic War and the Formation of a New World Order”, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, successfully completed its work on June 15. The event, organized by the Institute of History and Regional Studies (IHR) of the Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic, brought together students and young scientists from the CIS countries.
The official opening of the school took place on June 10 in the large assembly hall of the Kyrgyz National University. The summer school was attended by the heads and students of the North-Eastern Federal University named after M.K. Ammosov (Yakutia), Kyzylorda State University named after Korkyt Ata (Kyzylorda), National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek (Tashkent), Samarkand State University (Samarkand) and the Kyrgyz National University named after J. Balasagyn.
The following lecture courses were held within the framework of the Summer University:
- Yakovlev Aital Igorevich, PhD in History, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of World and National History, Ethnology, Archeology, NEFU named after M.K. Ammosov – Memory of the Great Victory in Yakutia: forms, methods and practices.
- Ermetov Avaz Abdullaevich, Professor of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek – Contribution to the Victory of the multinational population of Central Asia.
- Bikbulatova Anisa Rifovna, Professor of the Department of Archeology, Ethnology, Source Studies and Historiography of KNU.
In addition, the Head of the Department of academic mobility, education export and network master’s degree Saadat Shermatova held lectures and master classes, training courses on various topics.
On the final day, the closing of the Summer University was attended by: Vice-rector for Science of KNU Myrzabek Kamchybek uulu, Vice-Rectors of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek Shukhrat Tashmatov (for academic work) and Ravshan Musurmanov (for methodology and quality control of education). All the participants were awarded certificates.
