On June 2, 2025 a meeting was held at Kyrgyz National University nnamed after Jusup Balasagyn between Vice-Rector for Research Kamchybek uulu Myrzabek and a delegation from Shandong University (PRC). The event was held as part of the development of partnership relations between the two universities.
The Vice-Rector of KNU expressed gratitude to his Chinese colleagues for the visit and emphasized the university’s openness to joint projects:
We are open to dialogue, joint projects and initiatives that will contribute to the professional growth of students and teachers, as well as deepening the friendship between the peoples of Kyrgyzstan and China.
On behalf of Shandong University, Assistant to the President Xing Zhanjun spoke, expressing gratitude for the warm welcome and confirming his readiness for further cooperation, including the provision of technical and material support.
The prospects for academic exchange, joint research and expansion of educational programs were discussed during the meeting.
