On June 1, 2026, a successful public defense of a dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philosophy was held at Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn.
The research was presented by PhD candidate A. Sh. Alybaev. The meeting of the Dissertation Council took place at 2:00 PM in Room 412 (Building 10).
The dissertation topic was “Transformation of the Social Consciousness of the Kyrgyz People in the Era of Postmodernism.” The academic supervisor of the research was Doctor of Philosophical Sciences, Professor G. T. Botokanova.
International scholars participated in the expert jury of the public defense, including Doctor of Philosophical Sciences N.A. Shermukhamedova from the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek, and Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, Associate Professor S. S. Korganova from M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University (Almaty).
During the defense, актуальные philosophical issues related to the transformation of social consciousness in the context of modern postmodern society were discussed, along with the scientific and practical significance of the conducted research.
Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn continues to actively develop international scientific cooperation, support academic mobility, and promote the training of young researchers within PhD programs.
