On November 23, 2025 Alena Igorevna Arshinova, Member of the Russian State Duma and Chairperson of the Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization “Eurasia” visited Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn.
The Russian politician was greeted by First Vice-Rector and Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Alaybek Shamshiev. He showed Arshinova the mobile educational laboratory (bus) donated by ANCO “Eurasia” in honor of the National University’s 100th anniversary, as well as the trees planted by representatives of Eurasia KJ on that day.
Then, in the large assembly hall of KNU, Alena Arshinova, Member of the Russian State Duma and Chairperson of the Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization “Eurasia” met with university students and faculty.
First Vice-Rector and Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Alaybek Shamshiev, moderated the meeting. After a brief introduction and a video showing about the National University’s activities, he gave the floor to Alena Arshinova, a member of the Russian State Duma and Chair of the ANCO “Eurasia”.
She briefly spoke about the purpose and activities of the organization she leads, the events held in Kyrgyzstan, and encouraged KNU students to actively participate in activities of ANCO “Eurasia”.
Following the meeting, the Russian politician was presented with commemorative gifts, and a short concert was held, prepared by talented students of KNU.
