On August 1, 2025 a delegation of Xi’an Normal University (PRC), headed by the Director of the Institute of Foreign Languages, Professor Shi Louxiang, visited the Kyrgyz National University named after J. Balasagyn. Members of the delegation were met by the Director of the Kyrgyz-Chinese Research Institute Sofya Apaeva and other representatives of the Institute.
During the meeting with Vice-Rector for Science Kamchybek uulu Myrzabek, issues of academic mobility, holding joint lectures, expanding international cooperation and interaction between teachers of the two universities were discussed.
Xi’an Normal University is among the six leading pedagogical universities in China and is in the top 20 best universities in the world according to international rankings.
