On April 21, 2026 Rector of Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn, Professor Dogdurbek Chontoev, received the editor-in-chief of the journal “Journal of Modern Mathematical Studies”, Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics, Professor Bekbolot Kanetov.
The editor-in-chief informed the Rector about the publication of the first issue of the newly established scientific journal, and the current state and future of the journal were discussed.
The Rector expressed his deep gratitude to the editorial board of this journal and emphasized its full support.
It should be noted that the journal is registered with the Chui-Bishkek Department of Justice of the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic, registration number 400027, РСМИ, 0000012. The organizer of the media outlet is the Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn. The journal is published in English 4 times a year, and scientific articles submitted to the editorial office are carefully reviewed. The editorial team of the journal includes well-known mathematicians-scientists of Kyrgyzstan, including Mathematicians from the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, the USA, Serbia, Japan, Greece, Slovakia, Turkey, and scientists with high Hirsch indices in Scopus and Web of Science were included with their consent.
The meeting was also attended by Myrzabek Kamchybek uulu, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs.
