On February 18, 2025, at a meeting of the expert jury in the dissertation hall No. 247 of J.Balasagyn KNU, the first defense of the PhD thesis in the direction 550700 «Pedagogy» by Lu Bin on the topic: «Comparative study of English textbooks for senior classes in Kyrgyzstan and China» in English took place.
Scientific supervisor: Nurbubu Asanalievna Asipova, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, academic consultant of the PhD program «Pedagogy» at Zh. Balasagyn KNU. The foreign co-director is Associate Professor of the Institute of Foreign Languages of Peking University, PhD, Dr. Wang Hua Shu.

Balasagyna, Academic Secretary of the expert jury, guided by the “Regulations on the organization of postgraduate professional education for doctoral studies in the field of PhD and the award of the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)/doctors in profile», approved by Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic dated 08/27/2024 No. 517, as well as according to the «Regulations on the preparation of a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)», doctors in the profile of J. Balasagyn KNU conducted an examination of the dissertation, an initial discussion on January 25, 20025 and recommended for public defense. At the defense, all members of the expert jury noted the scientific, theoretical and practical significance of the dissertation research, as well as the high level of preparation of doctoral student Lu Bin for the defense.
The defense was attended by the head of the PhD department of the Balasagyn KNU, PhD, Professor D.Ch.Imanberdiev.
