On September 21, 2026, Professor Dogdurbek Chontoev, Rector of Zhusup Balasagyn Kyrgyz National University, received Professor Kang Sung Bom, a marketing expert from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).
Professor Kang Sung Bom who arrived at KNU, intended to provide non-repayable expert assistance, develop international cooperation, and strengthen ties between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Korea, stated that he plans to conduct a series of lectures for students and faculty of the National University and share his experience in AI, IT, Big Data, and the use of these technologies in financial management.
The Rector of KNU briefly informed the guest about the history and structure of the university, as well as its academic ties with Korean universities and organizations. He then said: «In accordance with the requirements of international accreditation and QS rankings, such exchanges with foreign professors are very necessary for us. Therefore, I wish you a pleasant scientific and educational activity with us. If any questions arise, my door is always open to you.»
