On January 15, 2026 First Vice-Rector and Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Alaibek Shamshiev received a delegation from Hoseo University in South Korea, led by Ms. Bae Kyung-jin, Director of the Department of International Cooperation.
During the meeting, a comprehensive exchange of views took place on a wide range of issues related to the development of inter-university dialogue, academic exchange, partnerships, and educational and cultural activities.
Alaibek Shamshiev noted the growing interest of Kyrgyz youth in South Korean culture and language and expressed a willingness to cooperate in the field of education.
At the end of the meeting, Ms. Bae Kyung-jin praised the activities of the National University, expressed gratitude for the warm welcome, and invited KNU leaders to visit Hoseo University.
Medina Nukeeva, Dean of the Kyrgyz-European Faculty, also participated in the meeting.
