On December 1, 2025 Kunduzgul Bazakeeva, Vice-Rector for Regional Development at Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn (KNU), met with Temir Khagurov, First Vice-Rector and Deputy Head of the Sociology Department of Kuban State University (Krasnodar, Russia).
The meeting discussed strengthening bilateral ties, joint work on cultural and educational programs, and the development of research projects.
Vice-Rector Kunduzgul Bazakeeva noted the century-long history of Kuban State University and Kyrgyz National University, as well as their similar educational structures. She added that this will significantly contribute to the development of multifaceted cooperation.
In turn, Temir Khagurov reported on the availability of numerous international programs for joint work with Kuban State University and expressed his readiness to actively support these proposals and establish an ongoing dialogue.
Following the meeting, further steps and the development of a roadmap were agreed upon.
