On November 10, 2025 the Japanese University Education Fair “Study in Japan 2025” was held at Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn. It was organized by the Kyrgyz-Japanese Center for Human Development (KRJC) with the support of the Embassy of Japan in Kyrgyzstan.
Before the event, representatives of Japanese universities were received by KNU Rector, Professor Dogdurbek Chontoev. At the meeting, the parties noted that holding the education fair annually will further strengthen cooperation. They also exchanged views on ties in education and culture.
This year, the following Japanese universities participated in the fair:
- ISI Japanese Language School
- Hosei University
- Keio University
- Niigata University
- University of Tsukuba
- Waseda University
- Embassy of Japan in the Kyrgyz Republic
The education fair was held in the large assembly hall of the main building of KNU, where university representatives provided detailed information about educational programs, admission requirements, scholarships, and employment opportunities.
Participating universities presented brochures, information flyers, and advertising brochures at the fair and answered questions from participants. The flyers also included QR codes, allowing users to access information about departments directly from their mobile phones.
