On October 28, 2024, Rector Dogdurbek Chontoev received the President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan Rifkat Minnikhanov. During the meeting in the Red Hall of the rector’s office, the parties discussed issues of scientific cooperation and the implementation of new scientific projects.
In his welcoming speech, Dogdurbek Chontoev noted that the staff of KNU named after J. Balasagyn is proud of its scientific ties with the academic community of Tatarstan, primarily with the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, and appreciates its contribution to the study of archeology, history, and culture of the people of Kyrgyzstan. “We hope for further fruitful scientific cooperation and the implementation of new scientific projects,” concluded Dogdurbek Chontoev.
The President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan thanked the Rector of KNU for the warm welcome, noting that the peoples of Kyrgyzstan and Tatarstan have a lot in common not only in terms of research, but also in other areas. Next, Rifkat Minnikhanov presented the “100th Anniversary of the Formation of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic” medal to Professor of the Institute of History and Regional Studies Anisa Bikbulatova for her significant contribution to the preservation and development of the Tatar national culture.
Decree No. 809 on awarding the professor of the KNU was signed by Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov on October 19, 2024.
The meeting was also attended by: Head of the International Cooperation Department of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan Albina Rakhimullina, First Vice-Rector and Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the KNU Alaibek Shamshiev, Vice-Rector for Research Mirlan Dyldaev, Vice-Rector for State Language and Social Work Nazarkul Ishekeev, Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Relations Baktybek Keldibekov and Director of the Institute of History and Regional Studies Turatbek Syrdybaev.
