On December 18, 2024 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ethiopia to the Kyrgyz Republic Dr. Jemal Beker Abdula visited KNU. The First Vice-rector and Vice-rector for academic work Alaybek Shamshiev met the guest from Africa.
Further, in the Big Conference Hall of the main building, Dr. Jemal Beker Abdullah gave a lecture: “The role of Africa in new international relations: a lesson that can be learned from the experience of Ethiopia” for students of the Faculty of International Relations and Oriental Studies and answered their questions.
The First Secretary of the Embassy Chalachev Esheti and Attaché Bedilu Vorku, as well as the Head of the academic department Almazbek Kydyraliev, Dean of the Faculty of International Relations and Oriental Studies Nurgul Kazak kyzy also participated in the event.
