On October 24, 2025 the II Forum of Turkic World Youth was held at the Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn.
The Rector of the Kyrgyz National University, Professor Dogdurbek Chontoev, congratulated the participants of the event and said that the youth of the Turkic World are representatives of similar peoples with one root, a common history, and a common desire, and that they are united by such great legacies as Mahmud Kashgari’s “Divan Lugat-at-Turk”, Jusup Balasagyn’s “Kut alchu Bilemi”, Abai’s “Kara Ritsiya”, and Chingiz Aitmatov’s “Kylym Karytar Bir Kunu”, noting that it is the sacred duty of the youth of the Turkic World to bring this unity to a new level through the language of science and knowledge, innovation and technology, and declared the II Forum of Turkic World Youth, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the National University, open.
The Secretary General of the International Organization of Turkic Culture TURKSOY Sultan Raev, noting that he himself is a graduate of the National University, gave a speech of advice to the youth and presented the Rector of the National University Dogdurbek Chontoev with the gold medal of the organization he leads.
The First Deputy Minister of Science, Higher Education and Innovations Aibek Chotonov said that this Forum is a bright sign of the unity and spiritual connection of the youth of the Turkic world, and the youth sitting in the hall are the future, hope and pride of the peoples living in the Turkic world, and wished the participants of the conference success, inspiration, encouragement and confidence.
The participants of the Forum were congratulated by the Deputy Minister of Culture, Information and Youth Policy Marat Tagaev and Turkish scholars.
After the break, young people from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Russia gave motivational speeches, asked questions about Turksoy’s projects and received worthy answers.
