In its 100th anniversary year Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn is expanding the horizons of cooperation and joining the regional youth project of the UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education.
The Oilo chatbot for students was created for students and young people to talk in an accessible form about health, relationships, everyday life and studies, and safe behavior on the Internet. As part of the initiative, KNU has already placed a banner and prepared an information page for the chatbot. The immediate plans include holding a joint event and launching a campaign on social networks.
“It is important for us that KNU students can receive reliable information and feel supported at the university,” said First Vice-Rector and Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Alaibek Shamshiev. “Participation in this regional initiative emphasizes KNU’s desire to care about the well-being of each student and contribute to the development of the youth of Kyrgyzstan. We highly value our partnership with KNU, which is always open to useful innovations,” said UNESCO Institute for IT in Education Director Tao Zhan.
