On February 5, 2025 Vice-Rector for Science Mirlan Dyldaev met with a delegation from Dumlupınar University (Kütahya, Turkey) headed by its Vice-Rector, Head of the Department of English Philology, Professor of Applied Linguistics, Dr. Ayhan Kahraman.
The parties discussed the development of international cooperation between the Kyrgyz National University and Dumlupınar University within the framework of the International Credit Mobility (ICM) project and signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
The document provides for:
- staff and student mobility within the ICM;
- conducting joint research and publications;
- attending seminars and scientific meetings to be held in both educational institutions;
- special short-term academic programs;
- exchange of educational materials and other information.
It should be noted that the faculties of humanities, natural sciences and engineering will participate in the cooperation. The meeting was also attended by: Professor of the Faculty of Education of Dumlupınar University, Dr. Kurşat Yılmaz, Deputy Head of the International Relations Department Vehi Onur Demirciler, as well as Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Relations of KNU Bakyt Keldibekov, and Head of the Department of Academic Mobility, Education Export and Network Master’s Degree Saadat Shermatova.
