On March 25, 2026 Myrzabek Kamchybek uulu, Vice-Rector for Research at Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn, met with representatives of the Educational Testing Service (ETS) and the Executive Director of its center in Kyrgyzstan, Zaripa Sagyndykova, as well as with Gulnara Nazarbekova, Director of the Lingua Public Foundation for Innovative Education.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on English language acquisition by students and teachers, the specifics of the testing system, modern assessment methods, and international standards.
Celestine Cardoz and Karina Anvarova, representatives of the ETS Educational Testing Service from France, provided detailed information on the TOEIC and TOEFL programs. They noted that these international tests are widely used worldwide to determine English proficiency. They explained the test structure, administration procedures, and preparation methods, and offered helpful advice.
In conclusion, opportunities for future cooperation were discussed and it was noted that such meetings make a significant contribution to the development of the educational sector.
