At the initiative of the Faculty of Public and Municipal Administration of Jusup Balasagyn Kyrgyz National University, an official introductory online meeting was held on June 19 between representatives of J.B.KNU and University of Piraeus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The J.B. KNU delegation included Vice-Rector for Regional Affairs Kunduz Jamanchayevna Bazakeeva, Dean of the Faculty of Public and Municipal Administration Almazbek Kadyr uulu, as well as faculty members and academic staff of the Faculty of Public and Municipal Administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The representatives of the University of Piraeus included Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Professor Spyridon Roukanas, Head of the International Department, Professor Christina Kontogoulidou, and Dr., Professor Petraq Milo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the meeting, Vice-Rector for Regional Affairs Kunduz Jamanchayevna Bazakeeva delivered a welcoming address and presented an overview of Jusup Balasagyn Kyrgyz National University, highlighting its achievements, international activities, and strategic development priorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In his remarks, Dean Almazbek Kadyr uulu emphasized the Faculty\u2019s strong interest in expanding international cooperation in such areas as public and municipal administration, business management, computer science, economics, finance, and water studies. He outlined several promising avenues for collaboration, including the development and implementation of joint research projects, preparation of scientific publications, organization of international conferences, forums, and seminars, as well as participation of students and academic staff in summer schools and academic mobility programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Particular attention was paid to the prospects of concluding cooperation agreements in the field of student and faculty exchange, developing and implementing joint educational programs leading to dual degrees, and preparing and implementing projects under the Erasmus+ Programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the subsequent discussion, the participants exchanged views on the prospects for developing partnership relations and identified key areas for future cooperation. As a result of the meeting, both sides confirmed their mutual interest in establishing long-term collaboration and agreed to prepare and sign a Memorandum of Cooperation between the two universities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The meeting was held in a constructive and friendly atmosphere, reaffirming the commitment of both institutions to strengthening international academic ties, promoting joint educational and research initiatives, and expanding opportunities for students and faculty members of the two universities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
