On May 2022, 31, the KNU staff celebrated the traditional "National University Day". The celebration took place in the large conference hall of the main building. Before the event Rector Kanat Sadykov, in the foyer of the 2nd floor presented new information stands with signed decrees "on the opening of the Kyrgyz State University" Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the USSR, signed by Stalin and President A. A. Akaev on the renaming of the "Kyrgyz State National University" into the "Kyrgyz National University" to the delegation headed by the President of the Keimyung University, Korea , Prof. Dr. Synn Ilhi, who came as guests and the chairman of the National Commission on the State Language Kanybek Osmonaliev.Rector KNU met with professor of the Department of Computer Science of Keimyung University
On January 11, 2022, the Rector of KNU Kanat Sadykov received professor of theDepartment of Computer Science of Keimyung University Mr. Park Keehyun. During the meeting, issues of cooperation in the field of information technology between the two universities were discussed. The Rector of KNU noted that the Faculty of Information and Innovative Technologies is one of the modern, dynamically developing faculties of the university, where qualified teaching staff works, new computers and programs are installed in computer classes.
